For the beginner: A,B,C OF UPSC

Hi friends,
today i am writing this blog for beginners who have made
up their minds to adventure in civil services.but before   heading towards our main topics i would like to inform you   that i am going to categorize beginners into two category;   A) STUDENTS FROM REMOTE AREAS who don't have     access to any resources and B)THOSE WHO ARE have   ample resources.

CONTAINS
▪︎what is civil services examination.
▪︎why it is so difficult to crack.
▪︎First attempt or attempt for the first time.
▪︎Books to read (At the beginning).
▪︎Time management.
▪︎Class vs Self study.
▪︎other important points to be kept in your mind while starting preparation.

☆ WHAT IS CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION:
A civil services examination is conducted by Upsc every year for various posts. It recruits candidates every year as per it's requirement that decides it no. Of vacancies. Rest of the details you will find in its advertisement.

☆ WHY IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO CRACK:
Though the exam is that not much, it's syllabus and dynamic nature of the papers makes it difficult to crack it.All the things are depend on your consistency (about which I will writer in my next blog).

☆ FIRST ATTEMPT OR ATTEMPT FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Readers this is an important thing that one should observe and understand while deciding to invest your time and expect positive outcomes from that. As now we have seen or read in news paper that xyz has been selected in -----  attempts. If you read the syllabus of the exam then you will easily understand the time required to become a member of that elite services.
It is impossible for a student to get qualify this exam without any prior preparations...I would like to explain it through an example: suppose that two friends AB and CD who just  have completed their graduation and decided to adventuoore for this exam.
AB gave his first attempt immediately after the degree exam but CD decided to spend  his first few years for dedicated preparation and will give his first attempt after let's say after 2 years .Who will have greater chances of being recruited... I have you have understood what I want to say...Keep your expectations on real ground.

☆ BOOKS TO READ AT THE START:I urge to start with
  NCERT books only
•HISTORY:Standard 7th to 12th.(read old as well as new).

•Geography: standard 6th to 8th are for mains only.

•Geography:Standard 9th to 12th are for preliminary as well    as mains.

•Indian polity by M. Laxmikant only(if you have time   then        please go through 11th and 12th books.

 •Environmental:Shankar IAS Academy(more than enough)

 •Economics: Srirma IAS notes and
   NCERT of 12 only macroeconomics.

•Current affairs: it is the most important part of the     exam.  Day by day the duration of current affairs have been      increasing.

• Society 11th&12th NCERTs are useful only for mains.

(I  recommend to read the CURRENT affair of at
least 1 and half years)

☆ TIME MANAGEMENT:
This the most important part of your preparation strategy. You have to decide how much time should be spent on particular subject as per the weightage to subject in pre, mains. For that you have to first memorize your preliminary as well as mains syllabus. It will also help you in selective preparation. Your initial focus should be on static portion that forms the core of the exam.(all NCERT books and few additional books)

☆ Class vs self study: From the experiences of the candidates it is firmly established reality that joining a class without having been any knowledge of that subject become a fatal misadventure. Let me explain you ; Because though we usually study most of the subjects during our schooling we lose their content during higher studies.  And ince we join a class like G.S. it occupy our hole day timing. We often fail to revise what have been tought in class. So ultimately it would be of no vain. So even if you want to join a class please do it only after a proper reading of that subject.
▪︎don't run Behind big names while joining a class.

▪︎Joining subject-wise model can be a better option.

▪︎Ask  guidance from senior (if available).

▪︎But ultimately only you are the succour of your preparation (life)

☆☆ALL THE BEST FOR PREPARATION.!!!!!
